mmmm I’ve wished Sookie was with Eric instead of Bill since like season 1. score.
1 week ago | 319 notesThere seems to be an overwhelming trend of not doing anything by the time you’re 30. Or maybe I just hang out with the wrong crowd. But it seems like everyone I bartend with is between 28-35, and it’s depressing. I mean sure if I bartend as a party relief at a place once a month because I’m in town after just coming back from opening a women’s shelter in Pakistan or doing peacework for the UN then PERFECT. I think people really need to set bigger goals for themselves. Just because you fail something doesn’t mean you’re stupid or that you can’t do it. Fuck I failed intermediate algebra THREE times, and it’s the second time I’m taking college algebra. I will NOT let this stop me from getting my degree. People need dreams. So here are mine:
I will graduate with my bachelors by 2014. I will study abroad. I will learn three languages. I will go on international internships. I will live in Washington DC. I will write a book. I will learn guitar. I will keep singing. I will keep doing yoga. I will never stop learning and growing and changing. I will not be overwhelmed. I will be the 30 year old everyone wishes they could be. If I have kids I will take them on adventures for the summer; they’ll have a passport before they even know what a passport is. I don’t want to be filthy rich, but I don’t want to be just ‘comfortable’. I don’t want to have to worry about money because I use my intelligence and perseverance to help people and experience the world.
Why the hell would you want to sit around and watch tv for 80 years? Not interested.
